Beauty does not always have to come at an exorbitant price, especially when talking about modern houses. With clever design that uses spaces efficiently, you can design a lovely home even on a small plot of land. Obviously, the smaller the land, the lower will be the cost of the house. Additionally, the overall cost will vary depending upon the type of materials used to construct the house.
The country houses around the world are characterized by different elements. For example, a typical country house in England must have a well kept garden, while in Germany, country houses have a basement and a fireplace with gable roof.In Russia and some parts of Scandinavia, having a sauna in a country house is indispensable. In the United States and Canada, a porch with a small terrace is very important.
Countryside villas are constructed with of simple materials like concrete and wood , but equipped with all the comforts of a villa. In some cases, depending on the location, the ceilings or structure can be of palm or bamboo.
Utility spaces and garages should be placed to shield the house from cold winter winds. In snowy climates, put garage and house entries on a sunny exposure to help melt snow. In many US climates, an inside corner facing southeast provides outdoor space sheltered from cold northwest winds. Put windbreaks between the house and cold winds, and cut trees which block summer breezes and desirable sun.
