If you have not got the cash to splash on new furniture, why not take a decorative approach and surround the TV with a mix of framed pictures and shelving in the same colour as the bezel of the screen. This will make your set look like a deliberate part of the display.
Give a white room heaps of character and personality by adorning it with artwork that you just can not live without. A crisp, clear wall is a good backdrop for styling with colourful accessories and would not make the space feel cluttered. Keep to a palette of one or two colours to keep the look consistent and cohesive.
Pick a wallpaper featuring different shades of the same colour to create a subtle but striking feature wall rather than overwhelming the space. Opting for a simple design instead of a hectic pattern will also help to soothe the scheme. To break up a papered wall, place your furniture and artwork in strategic positions around the edge of the room.
Choose a subtle shade of limestone coloured paint for walls then layer different but tonal shades of green on wood and furnishings to create a restful scheme. A chalky white sofa will add a punchy highlight to the room, layer it with cushions depicting songbirds and Spring foliage. Bring the garden indoors by mixing faux plants with fresh spring blooms and accessorise with striking oversized botanical prints, pretty wire work planters and birdcages.
